About

Inner Wheel is an international service organisation for women, open to all who share its aims and ideals.

Inner Wheel was founded in Manchester by Mrs Margarette Golding in 1924. Originally intended for the wives of Rotarians, membership is now open to all who empathise with our objects and ideals.

District 24 is one of 29 Districts in UK and Ireland.  District 24 started in 1974, when the number of clubs in District 8, which covered all of East Anglia, grew too large and a division was required. All of the District Clubs are in Essex, except for Bishop's Stortford, which is in Herts.

The District currently consists of 19 clubs with 429 members.
Inner Wheel is a membership organisation for women, open to all who share its aims and ideals.
